Dear Delegates:

To make your TransCanada 3 experience a good one, we're including here some preliminary tips that we hope will help you with your conference arrangements. Mount Allison University's conference facilities are wonderful, and we're confident you'll find Sackville a charming town located in an area that is rich in history.

To be able to enjoy your visit to Mount Allison University and Sackville, and to avail, if you wish, of the opportunity to explore the area, please keep in mind the following:

Getting to Sackville:

The nearest airport to Sackville is in Moncton. Though an international airport, flights from main airports (notably, Pearson Airport in Toronto) are limited. Please make sure you book your flight in advance.

Given the scheduling of available flights, you may need to arrive a day in advance (July 15th) or leave a day later (July 20th). For this reason, we have secured on-campus accommodation that is very affordable and comfortable ($45 per night).

Transportation to Sackville from Moncton's airport is by cab; cabs can accommodate three passengers. If you share a cab with other delegates, the fare will be approximately $10 per person. On July 15th and 16th, we will have students at the airport around the time of flights arriving from Toronto to facilitate cab sharing. Closer to the time of the conference, and after our registration web site is up and running, you'll be able to make such arrangements with other delegates in advance.
