The Other Sister

Lola Lemire Tostevin, a Franco-Ontarian bilingual poet and novelist who writes mostly in English, is one of the most innovative feminist writers in Canada. Her poetry titles include Color of Her Speech, Gyno-Text, Double Standards, 'Sophie, Cartouches, Site-Specific Poems, and Punctum. A translator from French into English of such writers as Anne Hébert, she has also published Subject to Criticism, a collection of critical essays and interviews with Canadian authors. She has published three novels, Frog Moon, The Jasmine Man, and, most recently, The Other Sister.
